The principal, Dr Tony Wright, qualified in London in 1970 and after surgical training in the United Kingdom immigrated to Australia in 1975. He has since worked in general practice in Maffra.

Dr Wright is on the Vocational Register of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a member of that College, the Australian Medical Association, the Rural Doctors’ Association of Victoria and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. He is a past chairman of the East Gippsland Division of General Practice and remains a member of the East Gippsland Health Care Alliance.
